Sleigh Bells - Infinity Guitars [mp3]
I think the most unfortunate thing about the new Sleigh Bells album is that most people will listen to it either through tiny ear bud headphones or tinny computer speakers.
This album is obviously a beast, but I didn’t get the full impact of the insanity until I heard it in my car yesterday afternoon. Because I’m secretly a 16 year old teenager, I have a clunky, outdated subwoofer in my hatch (shut up, I know… it’s been there for 10 years). The sub nearly imploded during the peak of “Infinity Guitars”. Things get pretty mental during the last 20 seconds. I’m not even sure what’s going on. It was really cool the way I thought my head was going to melt though. Yay! Delightful loud noises.
