I think if I were a musician/artist/whatever who did sample-based music, I’d put on Paul’s Boutique and then promptly cry for days on end… cause there’s no way I could even hope to create something as good as this. I’d forgotten about this album for a while but randomly found it on CD (I know, CD) in the trunk of my car.  This disk is a minute short of being 20 years old and it still blows my mind.  Disclosure: when this album came out I was in elementary school, I had no idea what they were talking about half the time… but the beats were like nothing else out there.  This is still the case. According to Wikipedia there’s 105 songs sampled on the album.  SUCK IT, GREG GILLIS. Anyhoo… if you wanted to school yerself on this album, some dirty pirate uploaded it here.
