So this is the new Lady GaGa video and I don’t really care and don’t want to talk about it.

What I do want to talk about is theories about the future of the recording industry circa 2000 - 2005.

Do you remember how people argued that because music sales were plummeting that labels/artists would need to find new sources of revenue?  One of the commonly discussed theories was that product placement would become more and more common in music to a point where it might become confusing and overwhelming.  Remember that?  Well, that future is here now in this video. Yay?
