While I was in the cab to the airport today, the talk radio was buzzing about this crazy proposed international ‘ACTA’ agreement that would essentially turn border guards and other security personnel into copyright police. What?

They would be charged with checking laptops, iPods and even cellphones for content that “infringes” on copyright laws, such as ripped-off CDs and movies.

The guards would determine what infringes copyright.

The agreement says any copied content would be open for scrutiny — even if it was copied legally.

Call me Ted Kacynski, but really? Are you out of your retarded minds? I’m just tryint to figure out how anybody could ever tell the difference between the music I paid for on my iPod and the shit I jacked from the internet. Isn’t it… impossible?
