HOLY FUCKING SHIT, YOU GUYS… VANMEGA.COM TURNED 10 YEARS OLD TODAY. I’m not bringing this up as a means of self-congratulation, but rather because I’m shocked.  I’ve now got an explicit track record of dicking around on the internet for a DECADE.  Yikes. I started blogging on November 8th, 2000 to document my life working at a dot-com (because it was insane/painful/unbelievable).  Later it evolved into a community blog for me and my friends (miss you, Babble Board!).  Then it became a travel blog.  Then a music blog.  Then a documentation of my time in grad school.  Then whatever the hell it’s become over the past couple of years. This is the longest I’ve ever committed to anything in my life.  And of course, it will never be documented on my resume.  Super. I guess what I’m trying to say is… thank you so much for reading along.  I’m as weirded out as you are.  Good times! Addendum: Wow, Tumblr queue is the worst!  This was supposed to post on Monday morning, not Thursday night.  But it’s been read and reblogged, so I’ll leave it out there. Happy 9.99 years everyone!
