I had plans to write a post about how - for me, this year - discovering quality electronic music has become more and more difficult to do.
It feels like with greater access to free music software and promotional platforms (e.g. hype machine) the stuff that becomes available online begins to change. A lot of the electronic music begins to lack melody, nuance, etc (things that are hard to do) and most of the music sounds like every effect in Ableton dragged-n-dropped and turned up to 10… for seven minutes straight (things that are easy to do).
Well… Wah! Boo! Moan, etc! I can shut up now. The whole Miike Snow album is great. And this specific track is magically delicious.
