Ryan Adams - Chains Of Love [mp3]

I’ve been meaning to post about the new Ryan Adams disk but I’m not sure if the rules of the internet will allow me to, since it’s been out for a month.

Regardless, the album is good.  Best of all, it sounds nothing like Heartbreaker. Remember when everyone was betting this album would sound like Heartbreaker?  Those fools!

Anyhoo, I believe this song is my favorite of the album.  Not sure if it’s because the production teeters on crossing the line into sickly sweet territory or if it’s because of the line referencing being 32 or it’s something else.  Don’ really care, just enjoying it.

Also, Ryan did an acoustic live performance of this track which can be seen here.  Not surprizingly, it’s beautiful sorta.
