Diddy f. Lil Wayne & Justin Timberlake - Shades [mp3]
Weird, I’m blogging about a Diddy track.
I’m just gonna call it right now… by February 2011 EVERY electronically created track is going to pitch down every vocal, sample and drum sound down by 8 billion percent. I’m not complaining, I actually enjoy resulting sound, but I’m concerned it’s gonna reach a point of overkill fast (see: auto-tune in 2008).
FWIW, I actually like* this track… for the most part. Slowed down Diddy = not awful. Unfortunately, rapping Justin Timberlake = awful.
* EDIT: upon further listening I want to clarify I like the way this song sounds. The actual lyrical content is dreck. No surprize there.
