Just in time for the long weekend… I DJ’d up a set for you. rob vanmega - a life or death funky situation! [mp3] I’ve flown home for a few events over the last couple of months.  All of these events have had after-(house)-parties.  Carpet and I tried to pull together a few DJ sets for these parties, but quickly realized that none of them were working… the tastes of those in attendance were too diverse. (Note: this isn’t a bad thing) We later found a common ground for everyone with old-ish R&B.  Without fail, that stuff got hips moving, people singing along, etc.  This set is a result of that.  30 minutes of 90’s/early 00’s R&B mixed with a bit of hip hop (for my sanity).
