Recording the Pleasure Cruise EP
This is going to sound slightly off but I kinda wish you guys weren’t recording an EP. Or even playing a show for that matter. I just like the idea and buzz associated with a Vancouver “super group” forming with the mandate of creating endless summer jams. Guys, just ride that anticipatory buzz. You could break up now before going public and we could talk about what could have been for, like, ever. Be the the urban legend kitted out with endless reverb pedals. Or whatever.
Ahhhh, who am I kidding. I’m just feeling out of sorts due to The Great Move Of 2011™ and the fact I’m gonna miss stuff like Winter Beach Bands and beard paintings and all the other endless (strangely targeted to me) creative trappings of Vancouver. So I guess this post has become an open letter to myself to get over myself? Great. Super cool.
In summary: bummed I’m missing next Thursday’s show. Also, would you send some of that free merch you were advertising on facebook to the other side of the rockies?
Sidebar/addendum: I assume Pleasure Cruse are kinda like a co-ed Dum Dum Girls. Yes?
