When I was in high school, a new mechanics teacher join the staff. When he arrived he declared that he was there to “clean up the school”. He barely spoke any english, couldn’t relate to the students, upset the other teachers, and ended up cutting off one of his fingers in the auto shop. By the end of the school year he quit.
For some reason I’m reminded of this.
